Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta says he has sent out a positive image by handing Ethan Nwaneri his debut in the win against Brentford on Sunday.

The Gunners’ teenager is the youngest player to debut for the club’s senior team.

He is also the youngster Premier League player in history, at 15 years and 181 days old, coming on during the 3-0 win against Brentford away from home on Sunday.
