As the activities marking the 35th anniversary of Akwa Ibom State’s creation continues, former Nigerian president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, is billed to visit the state on Monday for the commissioning of the dualized 29km Etinan-Ndon Eyo road.

The Special Assistant to Governor Udom Emmanuel on Research and Documentation, Mr Ndueso Essien, disclosed this to journalists on Sunday during an inspection of the road project with two cable bridges.

The Etinan-Ndon-Eyo road, handled by a Chinese construction firm, Wizchino Engineering, connects several communities in Etinan and Onna, Governor Udom Emmanuel’s hometown, with the East-West road and grants access to the industrial belt of the state.
