The Senior Pastor of Awaiting The Second Coming Of Christ Ministry, Adewale Giwa, has stated that cry against the Muslim-Muslim ticket of All Progressives Congress, APC, by some Christian leaders will become a ruse the moment the party’s presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu gives them money.
According to Giwa, only Nigerians can effectively move against the same faith ticket, stressing that some of the Christians lacked the capacity which will enable them to compromise their earlier stance.
The Pastor, who stated this on Friday, emphasised that come 2023, no one will emerge as the President without the aid of the Fulani.
“If Tinubu gives Christian leaders money today, they will shut their mouths. Nigerians are the only one that can fight for themselves, nobody can fight for them. The moment they get the money, you will not see them talk anymore.
“Let Tinubu hold a meeting with them, give them dollars and you see them not saying anything as regards the Muslim-Muslim ticket. Only Nigerians can fight for themselves.
“Nobody will become the President of Nigeria without being ruled by the Fulani. Unless Nigeria disintegrates, unless South East, South West and the North stand on their own before we can witness rapid development in Nigeria,” he said.
Speaking on the crisis rocking the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, the outspoken pastor stated that the presidential candidate of the party, Atiku Abubakar and its National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu, should be blamed.
“Atiku is the greatest enemy of the party. How do you want somebody who has served as a Commissioner under a former governor to become his boss, it is not possible.
“Atiku wants his loyalists in key positions in the People’s Democratic Party and a good politician with conscience does not have to do that. Somebody who has suffered for the party, laboured days and night and you just want to push him aside? No, that cannot be a good leader.
“If such a person becomes president Nigeria is in trouble. Before unifying the nation, you have to unify your party. Your party is in crisis, you have to face it. Think of how to solve it before thinking of how the solve the problem befalling Nigeria.
“Was Ayu sleeping when he vowed to resign if the party should pick a presidential candidate from the North? If you don’t keep to your promise when you are not elected as the president, how can Nigerians trust you and your party?
“Those saying the National Chairman of PDP should not step down are the enemies of the party and Nigerians. You cannot Fulanise Nigeria and try to Fulanise your party. When you look at APC, the president is from the north and the National Chairman of the party is from the north.
“Tinubu is from the South, he picked a northern politician as his running mate. Atiku is a northerner and Obi also picked a northerner as vice presidential candidate, they just want to fulanise the whole nation
“If the PDP had picked Wike, the people of the South East wouldn’t have been shouting “Obi” today. You ignored the constitution of your party on zoning the presidency to the South, now, you are saying they should follow the constitution to remove the Chairman. Can Nigerians trust you if you fail to allow justice to take its course? A house divided against itself cannot stand,” he added.
