Ademola Lookman is thrilled to score the decisive goal in Atalanta’s 1-0 win against Fiorentina on Sunday night.

The Nigeria international tapped home Colombia forward, Luis Muriel’s pass a minute before the hour mark.

It was Lookman’s first goal in front of Atalanta fans.

“I am very happy. I was a bit disappointed that against Monza they had taken away a goal, but what counts most today are the three points,”Lookman said after the game.

“We did an excellent performance from a defensive point of view, as well as in Rome.

Atalanta occupy top spot in Serie A with 20 points from eight games.

Lookman linked up with la Dea from Bundesliga club, RB Leipzig this summer.

He has scored two goals in seven league appearances for Gian Gasperini’s side.

Atalanta will travel away to Udinese for their next league game this weekend.
