A former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, has called on the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar to give up on his presidential ambition.
Fani-Kayode anchored his call on claims that the PDP is cursed.
The All Progressives Congress, APC, chieftain was reacting to an incident that occurred during the PDP’s presidential rally in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
In a viral video, people at the rally could be heard chanting the name of the Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate, Peter Obi while Atiku was present.
However, Fani-Kayode wondered how Atiku felt when the crowd started chanting Obi’s name.
In a tweet, the former minister wrote: “Imagine how @atiku felt when the crowd started to sing the Obi song at their maiden rally in Uyo?
“Worst still 5 of their Governors and many party leaders boycotted the rally.
“The PDP is clearly cursed. Atiku Ibn Dubai should simply give up now and go back to Abu Dhabi.”
