The Delta Central Senatorial candidate of All Progressives Congress, Ede Dafinone, has said that the proposed Federal Government under the leadership of Bola Tinubu will tackle unemployment, inflation, insecurity, agriculture and the high cost of fuel, come 2023.
All these, he assured, “are feasible because Tinubu is well grounded in the art of governance having done it in Lagos State where he governed for eight years and made Lagos State a mega-state”.
Dafinone made the assertions on Sunday when he visited APC leaders and members in Ward 1, Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State.
He also assured the party faithful that he, as the senatorial candidate will deliver the dividends of democracy to them and the people of Delta Central, when elected, in the forthcoming political dispensation.
According to him, APC will bring the desired but elusive development to Delta come 2023.
Dafinone appealed to the party faithful to step up their ongoing door-to-door campaigns in his support expressing the hope that “APC will win the 2023 general elections from Lagos to Delta, from the North and South-South, South West and the South East”.
He assured that their “votes will count, unlike before, because the days of snatching of ballot boxes for selfish gains are over”.
Also speaking, the APC Delta Central Chairman, Paulinus Akpeki, tasked the party faithful in the Ward to continue to mobilize support for Chief Ede Dafinone and all the party candidates stressing that priority attention should be focused on the door-to-door campaign.
Akpeki recalled with delight how he accompanied the father of the APC senatorial candidate, the late David Dafinone to the National Assembly in 1979, noting that the deceased lawmaker used his position positively by facilitating the siting of Delta Steel Company Aladja and the Sapele Sea-port, to Delta Central Senatorial District.
