Outgoing British Prime Minister, Liz Truss, has promised to support her incoming successor, Rishi Sunak, after he won the contest to become the leader of Britain’s Conservatives.

Taking to Twitter, Truss congratulated the soon-to-be first British PM with Indian ancestry, saying, “Congratulations @RishiSunak on being appointed as Leader of the Conservative Party and our next Prime Minister. You have my full support.”
