The sister of Bimbo Ogbonna, the late wife of a popular businessman, Ikechukwu Ogbonna aka IVD, has taken to social media to mourn her one month after her demise.
In a post shared on her Instagram page, Bimbo’s sister insists the mother of five was ‘murdered’ and that ‘Justice must be served.’ She wrote;
”My baby, my Bobby, Bimz it’s been a month you were murdered in cold blood.
If only we could turn back the hands of time
It’s so hard to accept the fact that you aren’t here anymore Abimbola, no one calls me MUMMY J anymore
Not a day goes by that you don’t cross my mind
The day you were born, I became a sister. The day you died, you became my guardian angel
Keep watching over us ABIMBOLA
Justice will be served”
Bimbo died in controversial circumstances in her matrimonial home in Lagos state in October this year. Her sister claims her husband set her on fire and watched her burn during a heated argument. However her brother said Bimbo started the fire after she had poured kerosene on herself and was allegedly pushed by IVD during a fracas, which led to her burning.
Ikechukwu has since been arrested by the police and an investigation into the incident has since been launched by the police.
