At least nine members of a family were feared killed when gunmen attacked Maikatako community in Bokkos local government council area of Plateau state.
The Nation gathered that the gunmen stormed the community o Tuesday night and started shooting sporadically.
Residents, who spoke to our correspondent, said the incident occurrer around 9 30 pm on Tuesday .

Spokesman of Plateau Police Command Alfred Alabo confirmed to The Nation the Police were aware of the attack and going after the assailants .
He said our men are on top of the situation though details of the attack were still sketchy .
He promised to get back as soon as he had more information.
