The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Rivers State, Siminialayi Fubara has come first in a poll conducted by the ANAP foundation.

According to the poll, the PDP candidate scored 17% in the Rivers East senatorial district, 14% in Rivers South East and 11% in Rivers West.

The candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Tonye Cole came second in the poll with 19% in the Rivers West, 8% in Rivers South East and four percent in Rivers East.

The candidate of the Social Democratic Party, Magnus Abe came 3rd in the poll with 18% in Rivers South East, 3% in Rivers East and 2% in Rivers West.

The candidate of the Accord Dumo Lulu Briggs came a distant fourth in the poll with 6% in Rivers West, 2% in Rivers South East and 2% in Rivers East.
