The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has been endorsed by the Northern Leaders Consultative Forum.

The Forum, which is made up of leaders from the Christian and Muslim religious divide in the North, including a former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, endorsed Atiku on Friday at a press briefing in Abuja.

Atiku’s endorsement followed the Forum’s adoption of a report by its technical criteria committee, presented by a former Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Simon Achuba.
