The ambiance of Abakaliki city beamed with men and women of timbre and calibre on Sunday 11th December 2022. This was to mark the 15th anniversary of the House of Kings and Priest Church and her foundation laying ceremony at Abofia, Abakiliki, Ebonyi State.
In his welcome remarks, the Senior Pastor of HoKP, Pastor Prof. Wilberforce Oti, expressed his gratitude to Almighty God and everyone who graced the event.
Pastor Oti who doubles as the State Chairman, of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, Ebonyi State, took the congregants to memory lane on his journey as a Christian. He revealed how he caught hold of the Church’s name in the Bible, (Revelation 5:10) and the need for God’s children to reign as Kings and Priests on earth.
Delivering the word of God, the Senior Pastor of Builders Family Church, Abakaliki, Pastor Kelechi Anigor preached on expansion and growth. He drew his anchor scripture from Deuteronomy chapter 1:6-7.
Pastor Kelechi explained that productivity, relevance, firmness, and character were ways God relates to believers. He encouraged the congregants to grow and expand in their field.
Performing the foundation laying ceremony, was the former State Chairman, of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Ebonyi State, Rev. Dr. Emmnauel Nshii. He revealed that the foundation-laying ceremony has been an age-long practice from the Bible.
The Reverend prayed for the completion of the church building. He described Pastor Wilberforce as a resourceful material and someone that needs to be encouraged to achieve his goals for God’s work.
The highlight of the event were goodwill messages and financial donations from ministers of God, friends, and well-wishers of the church.
