Hours ago, Wizkid was called out by several Ghanaians especially on social media after did not show up at a paid concert. Several rumours had also sparked in the air that the singer didn’t attend due to the “below standard” and his lack of pleasure with attendance.

The “Bad to Me” singer had issued a public announcement on his social media accounts where he had given reasons for his lack of attendance and apologized.

Wizkid further announced that he and his team are working on a new date to refix the concert for his Ghanaian fans.

In a statement via his verified Twitter the singer wrote, “Ghana is a country I hold so dear to my heart, first and foremost I wanna apologize to all my fans! Y’all know I would never do anything, without serious reasoning behind it. My brand is something I don’t joke with! I sincerely apologize, to everyone who made the effort to come out for me last night.”
