The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Zamfara State has revealed that adequate arrangements have been made for the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) to vote in the 2023 general elections.

The State Resident Commissioner, Professor Saidu Barbura Ahmed told DAILY POST in a telephone interview that all those who have their permanent voters’ cards (PVCs) would be given the opportunity to exercise their civil rights in their respective areas of residence.

He explained that the commission has already started receiving some non-sensitive materials for the elections from the commission’s headquarters as part of preparation for credible and acceptable general elections in the State.

Ahmed urged those who have not collected their PVC to do so in good time, saying that all INEC offices across the State are open.
