Imo State Entertainers has postponed the candle-light service of Late Hon. Chukwunonye Irouno.
The event which was scheduled for Wednesday 25th January, 2023 is in honor of Late Chukwunonye Irouno, in one-time Senior Special Assistant to former Governor of Imo State, Senator Rochas Okorocha.
The burial scheduled for 27th January, 2023 was postponed by the family who said a new date will be made public soon.
Hon. Umelo Chijioke, who announced the postponement of the candlelight service said that the decision was taken after the family of the deceased postponed the burial.
He added that contribution for the financial support to the deceased family will continue on the platform.
“We regret any inconveniences this shift may cause as the decision is because the family also postponed the burial which was earlier billed for 27th of January, 2023” he said
Hon. Umelo further stated that a new date will be communicated in coming days in line with the decision of the deceased family.
