The Democratic Republic of Congo’s arbiter, Yannick Malala Kabanga will be the man in the middle when the Flying Eagles take on Mozambique on Saturday.
The Group A encounter at the ongoing 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations is billed for the Suez Canal Stadium, Ismailia.
Kabanga will be assisted by Styven Moutsassi Moyo from the Republic of Congo (assistant referee 1), Pascal Ndimunzigo from Burundi (assistant referee 2) and Moroccan Jalal Jayed, who will serve as the fourth official.
Zambia’s Justin Mumba will serve as the match commissioner, while Beninoise Rosalie N’dah will be the referee assessor.
The Flying Eagles defeated hosts Egypt 1-0 in their second game in the competition on Wednesday.
Ladan Bosso’s side occupies the second position in the group with three points from two games.
A win or draw will guarantee the West Africans a place in the quarter-finals.
