A 38-year-old man, Salman Umar Hudu, has been arrested by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Abuja.

The suspect was arrested at a hotel on Tuesday, February 14, for falsely representing himself as EFCC’s Executive Chairman, Abdulrasheed Bawa, as well as other officers of the Commission.

EFCC in a statement said the suspect obtained the sum of N100,000 from someone he convinced that he can ‘handle’ any matter with the EFCC.
