The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar received a total of 427,611 votes in Adamawa State to beat other candidates there.

The results from the 21 LGAs which were announced at end of collation in Yola on Monday afternoon, showed that the presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu, got a total of 182,881 votes.

Mr Peter Obi of the Labour Party, LP, got 105,648 votes.

Also according to the final results announced by the state collation officer, Prof Mohammed Laminu, a total of 3,398 votes went to Dumebi Kachiku of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), while Dan Nwachiku of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) got 2,257 votes.

The Adamawa State presidential election collation officer announced that a total of 761,621 people voted in the election and produced 731,140 total valid votes.
