The 38 year old and forward enigma started the game as his team’s captain thereby handed a role to lead the attacking line in the whole 90 minutes duration, and he was able to deliver at the peak using his vast experience in the opposition box.

Cristiano Ronaldo in the game was directly involved in all four goals of the night scored by his team courtesy of his quadruple of goals which now made him to have netted at least four goals in a single game for the eleventh time in his senior professional football career.
