The Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party Campaign Council in Rivers State, Ogbonna Nwuke, has lambasted the Director General of the PDP Presidential Campaign Council in Rivers State, Abiye Sekibo, for claiming that Wike sent policemen to kill him.
According to Ogbonna Nwuke, Abiye Sekibo Claimed that he was attacked when he went to inspect the PDP PCC’s campaign ground in Rainbow Town, Port Harcourt, however, there is no space in Rainbow Town that could host any rally.
Ogbonna Nwuke urged Abiye Sekibo to tell Nigerians where the said police officers attached to Nyesom Wike attacked him. Ogbonna Nwuke said “he claimed he went to a venue where they were supposed to hold a rally. That venue which he claims to be in Rainbow Town was not precisely defined. If you go around Rainbow Town you will find that there is no place where a normal rally can hold.”
Ogbonna Nwuke went on to state that Nyesom Wike gave the PDP PCC access to the Port Harcourt Stadium for their rally,but they decided not to hold the rally in the stadium because they know that they cannot attract people to fill the stadium. Ogbonna Nwuke alleged that instead of holding the rally, Abiye Sekibo went and organized a stage-managed attack on himself.
