There’s a video going around the internet that purports to show members of the Labour Party being attacked by thugs in Lagos state.
After the attack, Ogbeide, the PDP organizer for Peter Obi’s group, issued a statement on his official Twitter account, calling the violence “needless.”
His words were a direct quote from Ogbeide’s initial tweet: “The violence against Peter Obi supporters in Lagos is completely uncalled for. The thoughts of the people of Lagos will not be swayed by a handful of prostitutes who have been paid to hurt us. By voting, we can free Lagos from the demons holding the city hostage. We’ve reached the point of no return “.
