According to reports,Dele Alake, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has asserted that the video in which presidential candidate Bola Tinubu is heard saying “bala blu…bulaba” was doctored.

Following the reports obtained by news reporters from Alake,who serves as the director of strategy and communication for the APC presidential campaign council, he disclosed that his principal has been the target of smear campaigns.

In a statement at a parley with private sector in November, Tinubu said, “We can create wonders…here is a successful again. A town hall, different from Bala blu, blu blu, bulaba”.

Reportedly,there have been claims made that the former governor of Lagos episodes of incoherence are evidence that he is not qualified to be president; however, his supporters disagree with these claims.

Corresponding, Alake claimed to the people of Nigeria, during an interview with Nigeria Info FM, that the speech, which was captured live by a variety of various media sites, was fabricated.

Narratively,he said,, “It’s not true, it was doctored. We showed the real original video clip on TVC and then it was broken into snippets and thrown on social media”.

Tinubu is still the candidate to beat in the presidential election that will take place on February 25, according to the former Commissioner for Information in Lagos.

Alake disparaged the popularity of Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party, (LP),and referred to his fans as “waka pass” from Nollywood in August of last year (extras in movies).

The campaign director asserted that Tinubu’s accomplishments are significantly more impressive than Obi’s and predicted that Obi “will trail far behind” in the competition.

Opposingly, Alake revealed saying, “this is not to denigrate him, these are hard facts. They’ve been governors for eight years. There is no basis for comparison between Obi and Tinubu.

Additionally, he said, “The difference is clear. It’s like night and day, like fluke and substance. Our candidate is the substance”.
