Veteran Nigerian actresses, Georgina Onuoha and Chioma Akpotha are at loggerheads. The actresses have resumed their fight on Instagram over last Saturday’s presidential election. During the election, Chioma alleged that she was “abused and beaten” after thugs had disrupted the process at her polling unit in Eti-Osa LGA, Lagos. Georgina, however, tackled Chioma, saying she has no right to complain.
She also alleged that during the 2019 election, Chioma warned her against sharing posts on people lamenting about rigging and violence at polling units. Georgina said it led to a now 4-year-old rift between the pair. She also referred to Chioma as a “cow shouting” over electoral violence. But in a fresh altercation between the actresses, Chioma described Georgina as an “enemy within” in an Instagram post. Chioma dared Georgina to provide evidence of payments she allegedly received from politicians to campaign for them in 2019 or face legal action.
She also shared a screenshot of the messages she sent to Georgina four years ago.
