The All Progressives Congress in Plateau State has said the people of Plateau South Senatorial District will leave to regret not electing Governor Simon Lalong into the National Assembly.

Lalong, who will be completing his second term in office as governor in May, was the APC candidate for Plateau South Senatorial District in last Saturday’s presidential and National Assembly elections.

The governor lost his senatorial bid to the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Napoleon Bali.

Do you know that if they had elected the governor to the National Assembly,he would probably have become the Senate Leader of the 10th Assembly given his pedigree as a high-ranking legislator. But they missed it when they allowed sentiment to dictate who they voted for. But we thank God that the governor’s efforts as the Director General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council has paid off with the election of the APC presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu as president .
