A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Vice Chairman of the Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria Chief Sir Henry Njoku (Harritex) have stated emphatically that the Governor of Imo State Senator Hope Uzodimma (ONWA) should be reelected come November 2023 to enable him complete the good works he has been doing in Imo State.
Chief Njoku made this statement during the thank you and Victory party in honour of the Owerri North State Constituency member elect Hon Kelechi Ofurum held at the formers Owerri residence on Sunday 26th March 2023 where a motion of explicit confidence was passed on the governor which was seconded by the sole administrator of Owerri North local government council Barr Sir Tony Umezurike (Aririerimba) and all the leaders of Owerri North to mention but a few are , Barr Chima Anozie (Homebase), Hon Paddy Obinna, Dr Mrs Julie Onyeukwu, Hon Kelechi Ofurum, Hon Kelechi Azuike, Sir Johnbull Onyeukwu, Hon Mrs Beulah Chukwuma, Hon Emeka John-Johnson Chukwueke, Hon Chijioke Udeh, Prince Chuks Mbara, Hon Mrs Chidimma Oparaocha, Hon John K. Agoha, Dr Anthony Ihedoro and many others.
Harritex averred that the decision of the people of Owerri North is necessitated by the giant stride achievements of Governor Uzodimma within the short time in office despite the COVID and insecurity challenges that confronted the government. IKEOHA as fondly called opined that the Uzodimma administration have leaved up to the expectations of the good people of Imo State in all aspects of the state’s economy which is evident by the actualization of the reconstruction, rehabilitation and recovery agenda of the 3R government of Imo State.
Harritex declared that the unprecedented achievements of Governor Uzodimma have made it pertinent for all well meaning Imo citizens to ensure his return for a second tenure to enable him do more of the good works he is known for and knows how to do best.
In their separate speeches, the Owerri North state constituency member elect Hon Kelechi Ofurum and the sole administrator of Owerri North local government council Barr Sir Tony Umezuruike (Aririerimba) thanked the Governor for all his support and efforts to ensure the victory of all candidates of the party at the March 18th state constituency elections.
They declared that the people of Imo State and Owerri North in particular will go all out to ensure the return of the governor come 11th November 2023 to ensure a continuity of the good works of the 3R administration under the Captainship of Senator Hope Uzodimma.
