The Flying Eagles of Nigeria have been pitted in Pot 3 in the draw for the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup to be hosted by Indonesia.

The draw ceremony will be held in Jakarta on April 1.

The Flying Eagles finished in third position at the recently concluded Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in Egypt.

Hosts Indonesia, Italy and France are among the teams in Pot 1, while Pot 2 has Brazil and England among others.

There will be six groups of four teams with the top two teams making it to the Round of 16.

The top four third-best losers will also make it to the knockout round.

Indonesia will host the competition from May 20 to June 11.
