The 2023 MTN Zik Contest winner recently with a viral mashup of People (Libianca) and Rush (Ayra Starr), earning herself many fans from all over the world.
Now she wows us with an incredible voice and unique style.
BAD is a danceable mix of Afrobeat and R&B and is now available on legal download platforms.
Who is Lili Anoma?
Born Magne Noumedem Annie Liliane on April 18, 2003, Lili Anoma hails from the West Province of Cameroon.
She grew up in Bonaberi, Douala, and attended Alfred Saker Secondary School in Douala, later obtaining a BTS in Journalism and Mass Communication from St Cecile University in Douala.
At age 17, she entered Mützig Star Competition and was disqualified. Relentless, she entered the first edition of MTN Zik contest in 2022 and won the competition.
She was discovered by singer Wax Dey while performing a cover on Facebook. In November 2022, Wax Dey offered her a contract with Calabash Music, including an international distribution deal with Open Mic Productions of South Africa.
Inspired by singers such as Mariam Makeba, Charlotte Dipanda and Ayra Starr, Lili Anoma hopes to use her talent to export Cameroonian culture worldwide.
