The Nigerian Navy has decorated 12 Master Warrant Officers (MWOs) with the rank of Lieutenant in appreciation of their exemplary performance.

They were elevated on Wednesday after the Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Awwal Gambo granted them Presidential Concessional Commission.

Gambo explained that the recognition was in fulfilment of his resolve to encourage hard work, commitment and integrity.
