Major General Jack Ogunewe (Rtd) has denied being under any pressure to accept the Deputy Governorship slot of the All Progressives Congress ( APC).

Ogunewe who ran for the ticket of Labour Party in last governorship primaries, revealed that he has no business or plan of accepting the Deputy Governorship slot in Imo APC.

”My attention has been drawn to the news making rounds that I, Major General Jack Ogunewe (Rtd), is under pressure to accept the Deputy Governorship slot of the APC.

”Ordinarily, this seemingly spurious and ill conceived report should have been ignored and consigned to the dustbin of history, as same is speculative and unverifiable, aimed at creating mischief and confusion in the minds of unsuspecting members of the public.
