OtownGist Media has unveiled a strong list of speakers for the 30th June, Social Media Day Event.
The virtual event which is tagged ‘The Future and Finance of Contemporary Media’ is designed to help media outfits find alternative sources of audience and finance.
Chinedu Hardy Nwadike the founder of OtownGist and President of Imo State Bloggers Association said that the event is timely and there is need to put an end to the dwindling fortunes of contemporary media outfits in Imo State especially.
Chinedu alo stated that the speakers at the event are experienced in the modules they will be handling, adding that solving the problem of the media in the state requires collective efforts.
On-Air personality and comedian Esiri Grant popularly known as MC Ominimini will be one of the speakers at the three hours Zoom event.
MC Ominimini who is also the founder of RayGrant Media Consult will be speaking on how to optimize thelocal adverts with social media followers.
Digital storyteller, Chidera Rosecamille Aneke popularly known as Certified Camille is another broadcast journalist on the list, she will be speaking on how to create alternative contents for social media in media houses.
John Okoye, the CEO of Brainslink Nigeria Company will moderate the event while Chinedu Hardy Nwadike will also be one of the speakers at the event.
The 3 hours virtual event will be running between 1:00PM and 4:00pm on June 30, 2023.
