Ahead of the 2023 Social Media Day celebration, Chinedu Hardy Nwadike has said that conventional media outfits will have to face the inevitable future.

Chinedu said that against what so many people think, social media is a tool that will boost their reach and finances of the conventional media and not one that will take them to the sideline.

He said that there are organizations in Nigeria who are taking advantage of social media, but media houses in Imo state will have to step up to ensure they join others in the future.

“There is no point in playing little and being in the past because we have absolutely nothing to gain from it. Most people say they are conservatives and have refused to embrace social media and what it offers”

“Social media has come to stay and there is nothing anyone can do about it. The best thing is for us to understand how it works and it doesn’t matter if we tag ourselves  local or modern media”
