Nneoma Ukpabi who called for his release, urged the Imo State Government who are accusing him of making libelous statements on radio, to temper justice with mercy.

“It will be great to see him back”, Nneoma said.

“Imo people are already missing his radio show and as a person, he deserves his freedom and maybe the matter can be taken to court”

“I am pleading with the governor to see this as another avenue to be a champion of peace in the state by tempering justice with mercy. The right thing should be to grant him bail and the court can decide the rest if he is guilty”, she said.

Meanwhile, while it is alleged that Nonso Nkwa said that agents of governor hope Uzodinma and a private security outfit owned by Asiri Dokuno are killing people in the state, a viral video has emerged showing the former militant saying that his men are working in Imo.

Many say the video has vindicated Nonso Nkwa, but only the court will say what is true or false at the end of the day.

Many people in Imo state are not also aware of this development and there have been questions as to where the private military outfit are working and how they can be identified.
