Zimbabwe players are not happy their match-winning bonus for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Nigeria has been reduced to $500.

According to Zimpapers, the Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) halved the bonus from an initial $1000 due to challenges with funding.

“The committee is telling us that they have no money to give us that’s why they have decided to slash,” one senior player told the publication.
