Members of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, on Wednesday, elected the member representing Hardawa Constituency, Babayo Muhammad as the new Speaker.
This is following the Court of Appeal’s judgment that nullified the election of the former Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly.
The lawmakers also elected the member representing Dass Constituency, Ahmad Abdullahi as Deputy Speaker.
