Movie producer and actor Prince Cres Ugo aka Royal Prince will be hosting the first ever Oru Ahiara Carnival this Christmas.
The event which will be a blend of the carnival funfair is also expected to have music performances.competitions, movie talent hunt, the maiden edition of Ada Ahiazu Beauty Pageant and football competition.
Royal Prince who has been in the movie industry for decades said that Ahiazu Mbaise Local Government Area has produced notable names in all corners of the entertainment sector in the country and creating a platform where everyone can come together to celebrate is very important.
“The carnival is more of a celebration that will ensure our legacy of producing top talents will continue”
“We have notable names in the industry and using the platform where all of them are involved to discover more talents will be inspiring”, he said.
The event billed for December 28, 2023 is powered by Royal Prince Movies, and will feature the likes of Victor Osuagwu, Harry B, Acharaman, Tenkobo, Jericho, hypeman Cool amongst others.
With lots of prizes to be won in a number of competitions during the event, Royal Prince said that the goal is to have people win prizes while having fun.
“We want to have the biggest carnival in Imo State and we want people to from within and outside the state to empty in Mbaise during the event”
“The pageant and movie talent hunt will set a number of young persons on the path walking a brand new path with their talents. Who knows, this might be the birth of another movie superstar and supermodel.

He said that winners of the cultural movie contest will have Two Hundred thousand Naira (N200,000) to go home with, while winners of the cultural beauty pageant will go home with another Two Hundred thousand Naira (N200,000) plus one year endorsement with brands.

(6) One year movie contract and projection of the winner of the movie talent hunt for male
