Liverpool comfortably beat Chelsea in a one-sided English Premier League encounter to retain top spot at the table.
The hosts dominated the game from start to finish scoring twice in both halves.
Diogo Jota put the hosts ahead in the first half after wriggling through Chelsea defenders, while young fullback Conor Bradley scored his first goal for Liverpool with a fine shot to the left corner of the Chelsea post.
Darwin Nunez missed a number of chances including a penalty in the first half after Jota was fouled in the box.
Although Nunez later assisted Liverpool’s fourth goal with a fine cross for Luis Diaz, he became the first player to hit the woodwork four times in a single premier league game.
The hosts got their third when Cornor Bradley found Dominik Szoboszlai with a fine cross for the midfielder to head in his first goal since he returned from injury.
With a consolation goal from Christopher Nkunku, Chelsea looked nothing like a team with bite strong enough for the challenge in their mouth.
Liverpool plays Arsenal away on Sunday, while Chelsea will be hosting Wolves at Stamford Bridge.
