Three journalists representing print and broadcast media outfits have been allowed into the Federal High Court, Fate Ilorin to cover the trial of the immediate past governor of Kwara State, AbdulFatah Ahmed, who is being tried over alleged N10 billion financial misconduct.

The admittance of the select journalists was after several interventions, while others who had hitherto stayed on the main road were allowed into the court premises, awaiting the outcome of the trial.

The trial commenced at about 9:30 am following the arrival of the judge.

The police and court registrar had earlier barred journalists from entering the court, saying they were acting on orders from above.
