Imo State University security operatives nearly stripped a female student for indecent dressing on Thursday.

The student who wore biker shorts, one of the forbidden outfits in the University, refused to leave the campus when the school security personnel confronted her.

In a bid to enforce decency among students, the University banned a number of outfits and according to our campus correspondent, the reason is to avoid unnecessary attention as well as cut down on sexual harassment in the school.

“The female student was embarrassed by security men for wearing biker shorts that looked like tight and she kept claiming her rights as a student and refused to go back to change because her home was far”

“This led the security men to almost use extreme measures as they dragged her out to the extent of almost stripping her” an eye witness told our correspondent.
