Founder of The Israelites Ministry, Prophet Emmanuel Obafemi has said that church members need more than prayers from the church, adding that it is why he is always giving back.
Located in Ilorin, capital still of Kwara State, Prophet Obafemi said that The Israelite Ministry beyond being a place of worship and succor for members, is also a place they can call home.
“Reaching out to people beyond our members is our culture. What we are planning for widows on 29th of March is the fourth time we are doing it and it is simply one way we want to give back to the community we have come to call home”, he said.
He said that in a country like the present Nigeria where citizens are experiencing untold hardship, giving should be the best form of evangelism.
Prophet Obafemi also stated that the programme is open to the general public as beneficiaries will not be limited to members of his church.
“Of course we want widows from beyond our church to benefit, that is why we are doing it in the first place”
“Jesus fed thousands of people and he didn’t care if they were believers or not. This is when we put religion aside and focus on humanity, because only the living can say where they belong on earth”, he added.
The event slated for Friday, March 29, 2024 will be taking place by 6:00pm at The Israelites Ministry in Basin Road, Ilorin Kwara State.
