Israel Afeare, popularly known as Israel DMW, who works closely with Davido, has weighed in on the recent social media spat between Davido and Wizkid.
In response to the heated exchange between the two artists on Monday, Israel DMW expressed his disappointment with Wizkid’s behavior, emphasizing that Davido hadn’t done anything to warrant it.
Via his Instagram story, Israel DMW suggested that if Wizkid is fed up with the music industry, he should retire “honourably”.
He criticized Wizkid for allegedly shading renowned music executive, Don Jazzy, and questioned the continuous jealousy and hatred.
Israel DMW’s message on Instagram read: “I used to like everything about you, thinking you’re a human being. I never knew you’re a fully daft-headed human being. Why this continuous jealousy and hatred? Did Oga [Davido] stop you from releasing your own back-to-back sweet hits?
“He has never at any time said anything bad about you. Yet, you keep hating him for no reason. Retire from music if you’re fed up. Resign honorably. Who the hell are you? You’re just a small dwarf. You will be taught a lesson if you’re not careful.
“You’re an idiot. A whole Don Baba? Are you his peer? Nonsense, foolish person.”
It’s evident that Israel DMW’s remarks reflect Davido’s camp’s stance on the matter, emphasizing the need for respect and maturity in handling disagreements.
