Owners of Manchester United want to keep manager Erik ten Hag at the Premier League club.

The Athletic reported on Friday, a day after the Red Devils lost 4-3 to Chelsea, that Ten Hag also wants to stay at Old Trafford.

United was leading 3-2 in the 97th minute but Cole Palmer scored twice in the dramatic closing moments of the encounter.

The result is a blow to United”s chances of playing in the Champions League next season, as they sit in sixth place with a -1 GD.

However, it is believed that INEOS would like to stick with Ten Hag, and he would also like to stay at United.

There has been a good sense of collaboration and discussions between Ten Hag, Sir Dave Brailsford, and Sir Jim Ratcliffe recently.

Names like Gareth Southgate, Graham Potter, and Roberto de Zerbi have been linked with the United job recently.
