Former Imo State Governor, Chief Emeka Ihedioha, who recently defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), paid a visit to Governor Alex Otti of Abia State. Ihedioha was observed at Governor Otti’s residence in Nvosi, Isiala Ngwa South, on Sunday.
Governor Otti, the lone Labour Party Governor in the South East and the entire country, warmly welcomed Ihedioha, who served as the former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives. Their meeting, held behind closed doors, sparked speculation regarding the political landscape in Imo State and the potential for Ihedioha to join the Labour Party.
While the agenda of their discussion remains undisclosed, analysts speculate that it likely revolves around recent political developments in Imo State.
