Margaret Oyibo Atayi, a girl from Benue State, who had been missing since Friday, May 17, 2024, was found dead late Monday.

Margaret, an Idoma girl from Ugbokolo in Okpokwu Local Government Area of Benue State, was last seen around City College of Education on Abacha Road, Mararaba, near Abuja, at approximately 3 PM on the day she went missing.

Her sister, Stella Ameh, announced Margaret’s death on the Idoma Darlings Facebook page, expressing gratitude to everyone who helped search for her.

As of the time of this report, the cause of Margaret’s death remains unknown, though there is speculation that it may be related to ritual killings.
