In a remarkable turn of events, hunters in the Buruku Local Government Area of Benue reportedly rescued a baby believed to have been buried alive in the Ashav Kusuv community.

According to a local resident named Terna, the hunters discovered the infant in a forest and brought her safely back to the community.

Confirming the incident, Iorkyaan Agber, the Chairman of the local government, verified that the hunters indeed found a baby in the forest. He added that investigations are ongoing to determine who left the baby in the forest and the motive behind such actions.
