Nigerian entrepreneur, Cubana Chief Priest, has appeared at the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos State for the ongoing trial related to alleged naira abuse.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had filed a three-count charge against him on April 16, resulting in his arraignment the following day at the Federal High Court in Lagos.

During the court proceedings, the social media celebrity pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Following this, Judge Kehinde Ogundare granted him bail in the sum of N10 million, with two responsible sureties required in like sum. The judge stipulated that the bail conditions must be fulfilled within seven days.

Cubana Chief Priest was released to his lawyer, who must provide an undertaking to produce him later. Failure to comply may result in his remand in a correctional facility.
