An unidentified man was apprehended in Dadin Kowa town, Jos South area of Plateau State, for possessing a bomb on the premises of a bank. Upon the discovery of the explosive, an alarm was raised, leading to the quick apprehension of the suspect to prevent a potential tragedy.
According to security analyst Zagazola Makama, who shared details on social media, vigilant bank security personnel spotted the suspect and thwarted the attack.
Following the incident, an angry mob reportedly descended on the suspect, demanding his execution. However, he was eventually handed over to the police for further investigation.
A picture accompanying Makama’s post depicted the bomb strapped around the suspect’s belly. At present, it remains unclear whether the suspect has any connections to terrorist organizations within the country.
