Patrick Ebegbune, the new Comptroller of Immigration Service for Imo State Command, has officially taken up his duties. Ebegbune, the 32nd Comptroller to lead the command, was transferred from the Document Fraud Unit at the service headquarters in Abuja. He succeeds Mrs. Joan Mary Nwosu, who has been reassigned to the service headquarters.
In a statement released on Friday by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Deputy Superintendent of Immigration (DSI) Mr. Chiaka Okere, it was noted that Ebegbune hails from Delta State.
Additionally, the new Passport Control Officer, Mr. Udok Imeh Usoro, has also assumed his role after being transferred from the service headquarters in Abuja. He replaces Mr. Casmir Ihejirika, who has been moved to the Immigration Training School in Kano, Kano State.
According to the Imo Command PRO, the new Comptroller is committed to enhancing the existing cooperation among various security agencies in the state. Ebegbune called for the support and collaboration of both the Command and the citizens of Imo to ensure success in his tenure.
