The Nigeria Police Force has promised to locate and apprehend a woman who was recorded feeding her baby alcohol in a viral video.

The footage, which circulated on social media, showed the mother, speaking in Yoruba, encouraging her baby girl while giving her alcohol.

The video has triggered widespread outrage and concerns for the child’s welfare.

In response to the incident, the Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, stated, “Another assignment for us. This is too bad. We will fish her out. Thanks. @PoliceNG.”
