At least seven individuals lost their lives in a road accident on the Iseyin-Ibadan road in Oyo State on Thursday.

The tragic incident involved two vehicles, with several passengers sustaining various degrees of injuries.

Acting Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), David Tunde Adewale, confirmed the accident to newsmen on Friday. In a telephone conversation, Adewale reported that a total of 22 people were involved in the crash.

He stated, “It is true, seven people died; 22 people were involved. Sixteen people were taken to the hospital.”
