Nigeria’s Edel FC has confirmed the transfer of two of its players, Arinze Anya and Harrison Ofonime, to Swedish side Ljungkile SK. The players have moved on loan with a potential buy option.
Announcing the move on their official channels, Edel FC revealed that both Anya and Ofonime have secured work permits and have commenced training with their new team in Sweden.
The statement from the Anambra-based club stated, “Edel FC has reached an agreement with Ljungkile SK Herrfotboll of Sweden for the loan signing of Arinze Anya and Harrison Ofonime. Both players, having obtained work permits, are already in Sweden to integrate with their new teammates for the remainder of the season.”
It further added, “LSK retains the option to purchase the players outrightly on a two-year deal, with additional clauses included in the agreement.”
